Fine Motor Skills
I used to be really into scrapbooking. I have gotten away from it as my time is used elsewhere. I recently decluttered the supplies I had, but I decided to hold on the all the paper punches and silly scissors. My thought was that they could be fun art supplies for my kids.
We have been getting them out every couple weeks. I let the kids go nuts with the punchers, scissors, paper, and glue. This is what we did today.
My kids really enjoy this and it keeps them busy for at least one to two hours. This is something that they can do almost completely on their own while I make dinner in the next room. I don't always let them have the scissors on their own, but the punchers aren't going to hurt too much.
